Nairn Sevens

Each year Nairn County Cricket Club host a Local Sevens Tournament to help raise funds to provide additional equipment in aid of our Junior Development Program. Local Businesses and Clubs can enter a team of 7 players into a Round-Robin style Tournament for £20. Forms are available here.

What is Sevens?
Sevens is a variant of cricket where each team consists of only 7 players (normally 11). Innings are only 6 overs a side. Everyone except the Wicket Keeper bowls one over. This variant of the game is fast paced and can be a lot of fun especially as there is a lot of field to cover with only 7 players.

Do I need to be a cricketer?
Naw. Whether you're a season pro or a complete novice we will accomodate all levels of ability. We'll provide the kit, some helpful tips to get you started and hopefully we all have a great day!
